This year, our Ramadan campaign is under the theme “Ramadan Sadaqah for Life and Healing.” After years of dedicated hard work from our volunteers and the generous donations of our supporters, we are honoured to announce that Masroor Centre for Healthcare – Ivory Coast Hospital is now in the final stage of opening its doors to its very first patients.
This milestone hospital will feature:
- An Emergency Department
- 3 Maternity Suites and Neonatal Care
- An Intensive Care Unit
- 2 Operating Theatres
- A full diagnostic suite, including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, ECG, and more

Can You Imagine Losing a Mother or Child for Lack of Care?
Ivory Coast, home to 28 million people in West Africa, has endured decades of hardship. Two civil wars left deep scars, and the country’s healthcare system was among the hardest hit.
Today, the consequences are heartbreaking. In 2017, 617 mothers lost their lives for every 100,000 births, and by 2020, nearly 58 infants per 1,000 births did not survive. Every number represents a mother, a child, a family whose life was cut short because they didn’t have access to proper care.
By building a hospital here, we can give hope, save lives, and rewrite the future for generations who deserve a chance to thrive.
